TOWNSVILLE ELITE DETAILING
SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE BELOW TERMS & CONDITIONS.

BY BOOKING WITH TOWNSVILLE ELITE DETAILING, REQUESTING ADVICE OR QUOTATIONS FOR OUR SERVICES OR BY USING OUR WEBSITE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS.

DEFINITIONS:

'WE / US / OUR' etc. refers to Townsville Elite Detailing company, management and any employees.

'CUSTOMER / YOU' refers to the parties requesting or engaging in the provision of services from Townsville Elite Detailing Company

'SERVICES' refers to services requested, engaged or provided by Townsville Elite Detailing company.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOOKING DEPOSITS:

All bookings made with Townsville Elite Detailing require a non-refundable holding deposit to the minimum value of 20% of the overall booked service price (30% for Paint Protection Film Services) to be paid directly to Townsville Elite Detailing in order to secure the booking. This amount will be allocated to your selected service when the balance is paid at the completion of the service. An invoice will be sent to your nominated email address outlining the above deposit charge and must be paid within 24 hours of requesting a booking, in order to secure this booking. If payment is not received within the 24 hour time frame, your booking appointment time will be forfeited. *Please also refer to our cancellation policy below*

BEFORE YOUR BOOKING:

Please allow 15-20 minutes upon drop off of your vehicle for our team to conduct a pre-service inspection and consultation prior to beginning your service. Upon completion of the inspection we will liaise with you, the customer, if we need to allocate extra time, products or specific services to complete the service. Any additional costs will be discussed and agreed to prior to the commencement of the service.

Please ensure all personal belongings and/or valuables are removed from the vehicle prior to the vehicle being dropped at the Townsville Elite Detailing workshop. Any items found during your service will be placed in a bag and left inside your vehicle. We will not take any responsibility for lost or damaged items. Please also ensure any rubbish is removed from the vehicle. A $22.00 incl. GST fee will be charged if our detailers need to remove rubbish from your vehicle.

For liability reasons, we do not remove, move or replace any type of child seat or restraint systems. We ask that you please remove any child seats and booster seats before your booking appointment time if you wish to do so. Should the child seat(s) be left in the vehicle, we will do our best to clean around the child seat(s), but cannot promise your total satisfaction.

If your vehicle is fitted with car seat covers and you would like the seats underneath to be detailed, please remove the covers prior to dropping off your vehicle. If the car seat covers are not removed, we will clean and detail the seat covers only (not the seats underneath). If you wish to have the seat covers removed by Townsville Elite Detailing, a fee of $55.00 incl. GST will apply and seat covers will be left folded in the rear of the vehicle at completion of service. While removing seat covers, all care and attention will be taken, however we will not take responsibility for any damage (pre-existing or sustained during removal). 

If your vehicle is fitted with roof racks or any other accessories secured to your vehicle, we will not remove them for your detailing service. We ask that you please remove any roof racks or secured accessories before your booking appointment time, if you wish to do so. This is particularly recommended for services including machine polishing. Should the roof racks or accessories be left on the vehicle, we will do our best to detail around them, but we cannot promise your total satisfaction.

It is important to note that during the service, we do not dismantle, remove or replace any interior seats, panels or any other accessories secured to your vehicle. If you would like these items removed for the detailing service, we ask that you please do so before your booking appointment time. We will not replace any removed seats, panels or secured accessories.

PLEASE NOTE:

All vehicles are cleaned at the customer's own risk and must be able to withstand normal detailing processes. We reserve the right to refuse detailing of any areas we deem to be not suitable or unsafe for detailing. Any damage claims as a result of detailing will be limited to the cost of the individual service booked. Vehicles must also be in safe, road-worthy and drive-able condition. Townsville Elite Detailing staff will move your vehicle around our workspace and into the presentation area with all care and attention as required, but will not drive the vehicle off our premises.

At Townsville Elite Detailing, we do not issue refunds. If you are not satisfied with a service we have provided, please contact our team within a timely manner and we will do everything in our power, within reason, to make it right. We use a general industry standard at our discretion to determine how issues are resolved, however we want all clients to be satisfied with all work received and we strive to maintain our positive review rating and reputation.

We reserve the right to alter or move a booking due to any unforeseen circumstances, as mentioned but not limited to for example adverse weather conditions, machinery or equipment failure or staff shortages due to illness. In this instance, we will endeavour to ensure we communicate and co-ordinate any changes prior to the scheduled service, depending on our ability to contact the customer and the details that have been provided to us are accurate.

We reserve the right to discontinue supply of service(s) if, in our opinion, the customer's service request(s) will not allow the expectations of the customer to be reasonably met. Townsville Elite Detailing reserves the right to refuse service at any time. Townsville Elite Detailing reserve the right to refuse or deny customer demands above and beyond the booked service that has been confirmed. Unless agreed to by both parties and the extra services are paid for on completion, only the elements included in the booked service will be provided.

All bookings placed require first name, surname, contact phone number, contact email address, vehicle year, make, model, colour, registration details and vehicle condition verification. Service requests may be cancelled at any time at the sole discretion of Townsville Elite Detailing. 

If you have opted for decal/sticker removal during your service, please understand that there are sometimes unforeseeable risks associated with removing existing decals/stickers from client vehicles and whilst Townsville Elite Detailing take all care and precautions when carrying out the removal process, Townsville Elite Detailing hold no responsibility for any damages that may incur during this process.

Management team at Townsville Elite Detailing will take photographs of your vehicle for quality assurance and marketing purposes. These photographs may be used on Townsville Elite Detailing's social media pages, website and/or for marketing and work portfolio purposes. If you do not consent to photographs of your vehicle being used for this purpose, please advise of this at the time of booking.

You will always be treated respectfully and our Management and staff will expect the same from customers. Townsville Elite Detailing will not tolerate verbal or physical abuse towards management or staff under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviours be encountered.

Townsville Elite Detailing reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

MOBILE SERVICES:

For our Maintenance Mobile Services, we come to you expecting to have the following:

  • enough space to safely perform our service

  • permission to be on premises if you are not the owner

  • a safe location, as well as safe conditions to service your vehicle

Services will not be completed on the road side, as this is not a safe work environment. If we arrive onsite and the previously mentioned conditions are not met, or there are other factors that we believe may affect our service quality, we reserve the right to reschedule the service to a later time/date or location that works for both parties.

 

Please ensure all personal items and/or valuables are removed from the vehicle before our professional detailer arrives. 

 

Whilst every effort will be made to keep regular bookings to a consistent day, time or frequency, sometimes it may be necessary to make changes due to public holidays etc, but we will ensure we communicate and co-ordinate all the changes prior to the scheduled service.

PRICING AND QUOTATIONS:

Please note, any pricing listed on our website or social media is to be used as a guide only and may be subject to change. Quotations provided over the phone or via written message or email will be an estimation of work to be completed only, based on the information provided by you, the customer. Estimations provided are not binding if the vehicle condition changes prior to scheduled booking, or if more than 15 days has lapsed from date of estimate. The estimate will also be subject to change based on a more detailed examination immediately prior to the start of the service and will be discussed with you, the customer, prior to beginning work. Payment is expected upon completion of work, unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing ahead of time. We have an EFTPOS machine available for acceptance of payment at the completion of works.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Your service bookings are very important to Townsville Elite Detailing. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. As a common courtesy to everyone, we would greatly appreciate 48-hours (2 days) notice prior to cancellations or rescheduling of bookings. The cancellation/rescheduling policy gives us time to inform our wait list clients of any availabilities.

 

We try to accommodate and are understanding in these situations, but please contact our team upon receipt of your appointment reminder message if you have no intention of attending your booked appointment. Townsville Elite Detailing reserves the right to retain your deposit (non-refundable if a booking is cancelled or rescheduled on the day of appointment without prior arrangement). The following terms and conditions apply to all appointments:

  • We require 48 hours (2 days) notice to cancel or reschedule any booking, service or consultations.

  • If you cancel your booking in less than 24 hours of your booked appointment date/time, you will forfeit your booking deposit.

 

  • If you reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours of your booked appointment date/time, your original deposit will be forfeited and you will be required to re-pay a booking deposit to secure a new booking date/time.

  • If you do not attend your booking at the scheduled booking time (no show), this will be considered a breach of our cancellation policy and you will be required to pay for your missed appointment in full. If you wish to make another booking, you will be asked to pre-pay in full for any future bookings.

  • Townsville Elite Detailing reserves the right to retain your deposit (non-refundable if a booking is cancelled or rescheduled on the day of appointment without prior arrangement. 

  • Townsville Elite Detailing reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty but wherever possible, will let the customer know.

 

  • Townsville Elite Detailing reserves the right to cancel or reschedule in accordance with its staff levels, weather conditions and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company.

Townsville Elite Detailing reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
